I have seen only 4 mount drops. I'll update if i ever get the mount : At Kill it dropped for a dps in the group from Ozumat in Throne of Tides. Hope the next one i see drop will be mine I didn't see any drop since the above mentioned until now, at attempts it dropped for ME! I couldn't believe it I'm so happyyy :D It dropped on my druid tank, i have been doing tw dungeons across multiple characters. Never give up hope guys, even if you don't have time to farm it try and get at least kills per event.

I got it from the last boss of Throne of Tides about 3 hours ago on my prot warrior. It dropped on my th attempt account wide around for the toon I got it on according to rarity. It was also the first one I've actually seen drop, just wanted to post to let people know that just because it doesn't drop on your first attempts it doesn't mean it will take attempts.

Comment by A73x The more comments the more I believe in a hidden mechanic that keeps this mount rare. There's ALOT of people who got this mount on their first run.

I haven't done the maths but I'd say the probability of getting the mount on your first run is far lower than seeing it on your th kill. This makes me think that "farming" this mount is not the key to success. So for the people that do kills per day are only getting "X" chances per day which could be the same amount of chances that someone else gets after 20 runs.

The thing that leads me to this theory is that I ran dungeons times with the same person and I noticed that we would both get blue bulging stacked decks at the same time, the blue stacked decks are also personal loot so I think whatever RNG prevents you from getting hundreds of blue stacked decks in a row is tied in with the mount drop.

Long story short, this is the most ridiculous farm ever, and the only reason I continue to do it is because I am in this deep already, and it would be a shame to have wasted all of this time for nothing.

Comment by A73x I've seen it drop twice now in around kills I got the first one at I don't think it's just RNG affecting this mount there's too much variation in the data.

Either that or people are severely overexaggerating their number of kills. I dare say there's a hidden parameter that affects whether the mount drops for you. I know it's sooooo unlikely, but the amount of people who don't collect mounts at all but then they get this on their second TW or raid mounts while they're just tagging along with friends etc.

Where as for people like me who literally collect everything, have almost every mount, toy, achievement, every rare drop is an insane grind where you are on the severe bad side of RNG. I can't even remember the last time I got 'lucky' in terms of a rare drop When I first starting battle pet collecting I remember farming days and days for a Crimson Whelpling and it was somewhere around 33, kills that it finally dropped. The kind of soul crushing insanity where you've spent so long trying, you just have to keep going to make it not a complete waste of time I keep waiting for that lucky break where something Comment by Conqu3rer I got this mount from Pit of Saron a few years back.

I am salty, really salty. And this number, isn't a lot, i know many people have double, triple, probably even more than that. Hours upon hours of pointless grinding of old cheap, filler content that nobody really enjoys. It hurts when it drops and you don't get it. It hurts when you see the impossible 2 mounts from the same boss. It hurts when you see 10 mounts drop, but you are not gonna get it. You are gonna keep mindlessly grinding this boring ass content over and over because you want that damn mount, but you are not gonna get it.

It cant be. You haven't gone through ,kills and seen it drop what, times if you are lucky unlucky , out of 15 loot chances? People tell me "There is no point in farming it, i'll get it eventually by doing the weekly quests".

Logged in, got a dungeon que while leveling my Druid within 20 minutes of popping back on. Got this as a drop from the third boss we killed in the dungeon first 30 minutes of playing after almost two years.

Can't use it unless I train a higher level flying for 4k. Didn't know what it was, so I Googled it and found this. Thank God I had that 4k. It will feel like it's not going to drop, and you will hate yourself from hours of spamming, but in the end, it IS eventually worth it. Get yourself a BiS set and run with friends. I usually ran with 3 or 4 friends who also had sets and you just breeze through the dungeons while having fun with friends. The faster the dungeons, the more kills you'll get per hour. Good luck. This grind was so mindless that at the end I didn't even expect the drake to drop anymore, queuing TW dungeons just became a habit, it's not like there was anything else to do. So glad this chapter of my life is over.

Never queuing another TW dungeon again. They seriously need to fix the drop rate, having to do this much of boring grinding already felt sickening and there are people with even more attempts! Congrats to all those who have it, and I know everyone say's to not give up hope and it will drop when you aren't expecting it to. I just want this so I can stop wasting all of my time doing this. I was very irritated because he targeted me 3 times in a row with his stun and I was running through the door away from the boss then I thought to myself, "Did I loot that boss? I don't remember I wasn't even farming timewalking dungeons this week. I was just doing my quest to get an extra seal because I haven't played for a few weeks.

After all the timewalking sets I've made, healing, dpsing, making groups on b. I watched 3 people I ran with all abandon me once they got theirs and was left to myself farming every week for months. I watched one guildy get it off the 3rd boss he killed in tw ever and he didn't even know it existed.

I saw another random person get it in under 40 kills and the 6th one i saw drop was mine. Personally I suggest not wasting your life farming this stupid drop rate mount. Since legion is coming out soon you might as well farm it into the ground before you have multiple alts to lvl and a new demon hunter. I have mounts and no mount was every harder than Infinite Timereaver to obtain and I have every drop mount in wow except for world boss mounts.

Comment by theangriesthippo I'm not certain my kill count, as I never installed rarity, or any other kill counters like it. But after what I estimate to be kills and seeing 4 drop for other people, it finally dropped for me off of Tyrannus in the Pit of Saron, at around am last night.

I had done 24 dungeons and killed bosses that day, and I decided I was going to turn in, and then thought "Eh, one more, why not". I am really glad I did that ONE more dungeon.

I had seen it drop 6 times for others and I was so depressed I decided to give up and just do the 5 dungeons quest with few alts. Then it dropped on my attempt number , from last boss in Vortex pinnacle. I was so happy I couldn't believe it finally dropped for me.

Comment by Denjo I've been chainfarming timewalking dungeons the past few weeks since I heard timewalking would be gone for a bit in legion, and I've wanted an infinite drake ever since I first saw one. I used to chainfarm them when timewalking was first released, but toned that down to only doing the quest on all my alts because it was simply too mind-numbing.

While rarity said , I have quite a bit more kills since I only installed rarity recently I used to keep track on post-its. At this point I'm just happy I don't have to do timewalking anymore.
